Playa Ventanas is a small, natural bay with a lot of palm trees. This beach is named for its two caves open to the sea and accessible only at very low-tide. The beach is nestled between jungle and rocks.
We recommend to park the car in the guarded parking lot, if it is not open, then park before the road gets really bad. Don't leave anything inside the car! From there it is approximately 300m to walk to the beach.
This beach is surrounded by lovely scenery. Ventanas (“Windows”) gets its name from the rocky promontory at its north end featuring holes in the rock that can be explored at low tide.
