Hotel Manuel Antonio on the fabulous Playa de Manuel Antonio is a Family hotel. The hotel was built, and still owned, and managed by our family. We take pride in our hotel, from the contrast of ancient, but still modern architecture, to the deep rich woods native here in Costa Rica. The Manuel Antonio region was referred by travel consultant John Pleva as the “Malibu of Costa Rica”! Its “Mother town is Quepos, a medium sized town with a huge fishing fleet, high adventure tours, and great shopping. The Manuel Antonio region starts as you head up the mountain on the South side of Quepos. The road cut into the side of the mountain rises for 3~4 Kilometers to a peek, then back down the mountain for 3 Kilometers with the final Kilometer being at sea level, ending at the entrance and Beaches of Manuel Antonio. This is where the hotel is located. The closest hotel to the Beaches, and situated between the entrance, and exit of the World Famous Manuel Antonio Park. When people look at maps the road looks like a path heading south from Quepos. However, this is a quite built-up area.

Transportation is abundant from the town of Quepos, up and down the mountain to the turnabout in front of the hotel. The Manuel Antonio bus leaves the Bus station in Quepos frequently, and at a cost of only about 200 cln($0.40US). Direct buses from San Jose(Coca Cola Terminal) also stop at the Bus station in Quepos, and right at the front of the Hotel. Shuttle Vans, Taxis, and rental vehicles are also readily available, and can be arranged by the hotel front desk. Tours, and adventures can also be arranged by our front desk.
