Costa Rica is well known as worldwide Sport Fishing spot for the big concentration of Sail Fish in its waters during the dry season from December to end of May. The reason of the unusual quantity of Sail Fishes is the annual migration of them from deep waters to coastal waters looking for small fishes from the south of the country to the north area. Together with Sail Fishes, there are big schools of Mahi Mahi, Blue and Black Marlins, huge Yellow Fin Tunas and Wahoos all year around.
